Once you've changed the icons, drag your CS5 apps off your dock and drag the apps, with the new icons, back on.
If that doesn't work, get CandyBar to change dock icons.

I prefer the blue Extended version. They're all labelled according to which program they're for if you're wondering.

Sure, I use them already! But now I'm thinking that if the icons have 2 or even 1 letter on theme it will be easier to use! Thanks again, though!

The one criticism I have may not be relevant - it's such an obvious thing that I sort of assume that you designed these icons fully knowing what I'm about to say -

Without being very familiar with the Creative Suite, you're not going to know what these icons are for, since the only identifying feature is color-coding.

Since they are replacements for the default icons, which are all color coded, I don't think that will be an issue. Also, since they aren't identified, people can use them as icons for anything else they want.

(I also listed them in order from left to right, top to bottom in my description)

I'm critiquing them as stand-alone units. IE; someone could take these icons and use them to replace all the defaults, but that doesn't mean that they will be able to make the connection between the old icons and the new ones unless they're very familiar with CS, and therefore, already 'trained' to recognize the color branding.

The idea of leaving them blank so that they can be used for anything makes some sense, and I can also understand it from an aesthetic perspective, but from the UI standpoint I think it may be wiser to specialize.

That said, the person who downloads these icons is probably a person who is already familiar enough with the suite to know what they stand for.

Anyone who has the programs is already familiar, with both the icons and the splash screens they mimic. If you have CS5 software, there should be no confusion at all, but it's not my responsibility to make sure people know which icon is which after they change them. The whole point of making these was because a bunch of people specifically asked for a blank version without text.

If you don't recall, I have another deviation set of versions that have the trademark names on them (Ps, Ai, Fl, etc.) for anyone who wants something more specialized.

LOL I said at the very beginning that the critique may not be applicable! It ain't a thang, man. Nobody's claiming it's your responsibility to babysit users.

That's alright. I'm just saying I only made these cause people specifically asked for them.
